Scenography and costume design.

The concept was to keep the stage very simple and to try to convey the inner feelings of actor by projecting lights on a circular shape on the floor. The shape was only correct from one side but got warped from the sides.

You're always thinking about the stigma you're going to face

In today's society, there are many opportunities to produce the "perfect" version of yourself. In the world of the internet and social media, it is easy to project a shiny image of yourself, free of difficulties, shame and - perhaps truth. But there are also people who do not dare to live up to their convictions and produce their image throughout their lives. There can be many reasons; shame, fear or even some kind of "consideration" toward their loved ones. The fear of hurting and embarrassing others. Hannes Óli Ágústsson, actor, never experienced intimacy with his father. In his youth, he envied his playmates because of their relationship with their fathers. Hannes just wanted a "normal dad", but his father was distant despite being there. Deep down, Hannes knew that something was not as it should be. One day everything changed. His father simply let himself disappear and became Anna Margrét Grétarsdóttir, then 57 years old. She informed her wife of 30 years and her two children that she was not really who they thought she was all these years. She was not Ágúst Már, but Anna Margrét.

Loss, sadness and longing blew up. Their lives were a lie. At the same time, society demands that relatives support their loved ones, support him – support her – and help her face life anew.
